Unfortunately for teachers and practitioners alike, travel to India for extended periods of time is not always possible. To deepen your study and practice of Ashtanga Yoga many 'authorized' and 'certified' teachers are providing various programs to deepen your practice and understanding of yoga. These programs vary in length from 40 hours to 250 hours. Some of the programs may qualify for Yoga Alliance registration. These programs cannot replace direct study at the KPJAYI, however, they can be an excellent place to start your studies and the information gained from these teachers will be based on their direct experience of Ashtanga Yoga at the source of this tradition.
