Hi Emily,

Thanks for your submission.

If you are recommending a specific class please let us know, and also let us know what college you recommend and why. We all benefit from knowing were the teaching resources are in our communities.

The eightfold path

The eightfold path, also known as the eight-limbed path is called Ashtanga Yoga.

This teaching is first introduced to us in the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, Chapter 2 verse 29:

II.29 yama-niyamāsana-prāṇayāma-pratyāhāra-dhāraṇa-dhyāna-samādhayo 'ṣṭāv aṅgāni

We have listed the explanations on this page of Ashtanga Yoga Canada's website.

http://www.ashtanga-yoga-canada.com/8-limbs.html

If you have a question of a more specific nature please let us know. Thanks so much for the question.

Blessings,
Jeff
